On Free and Starter, a hold removes the buyer's payment terms (they can still order and pay by card) or sends their orders for review. Growth and Scale can also keep the terms in place and block checkout with a message and a pay link.

How texts are counted
Each text reminder counts as one, whatever its length. A company with two contacts who both receive texts uses two. If you use up the month's allowance, reminders fall back to email for the rest of the month; Terms Due emails you when you are close to the limit, and you can buy a top-up from the app at any time: 250 texts for $15 or 1,000 for $49, billed through Shopify like the plan. Top-up texts are used after the monthly allowance. Unused monthly texts do not roll over.
Most merchants use well under their allowance: with the default schedule, an invoice that is paid on time uses one or two texts, and one that runs two weeks late uses five.
The free trial and billing
The Free plan needs no card and has no time limit: install it and use it for up to three trade accounts for as long as you like. Paid plans start with 14 days free, once per store. Pick a plan, set limits, let the reminders run and see the aging report with your own orders; if you cancel or uninstall before the trial ends you are not charged. After that the plan is billed monthly through your Shopify invoice in US dollars, like any other Shopify app, with no separate card to set up and no contract.
Change plan from the app at any time. The change takes effect straight away: Shopify prorates the charge when you move up and credits the unused part of the month when you move down or cancel. If you change plan during the trial, the remaining trial days carry across rather than starting again.

- Card processing fees on payments buyers make: those are your Shopify payments fees, as for any card payment.

Questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Paid plans come with 14 days free, once per store, and you are not charged if you cancel or uninstall before it ends. The Free plan has no trial because it has no charge.
How am I billed?
Through your normal Shopify invoice, in US dollars, monthly.
What counts as a trade account?
Each company location in Shopify B2B that Terms Due syncs from your store. If you have more locations than your plan covers, the oldest stay covered and the rest show as Not on plan: Terms Due still tracks their invoices but does not remind or hold them until you upgrade.
What if I run out of texts?
Reminders fall back to email, Terms Due emails you when you are close to the limit, and you can buy a text top-up from the app at any time.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, at any time from the app. It takes effect straight away; Shopify prorates the charge when you move up and credits unused time when you move down.
Do you charge a percentage of what you collect?
No. The plan is a flat monthly fee whatever you collect.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Not at the moment. Billing is monthly through Shopify.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing in Shopify changes. Terms Due deletes your store data within 30 days of uninstall.
